white pigeon with green tag has been in my neighborhood for a couple days. it has been enjoying my neighbor's fountain and bird seed. it's right wing appears to have a small injury as it can only fly as high as the roof. i have a picture if needed. it flees when people attempt to go near. the only letters i could make our are chap. the band is all white plastic - no metal like shown above. white with grey markings and green head. i have a couple of pics. stayed all night on the back of a chair on the front porch. gave bird food and water this morning. wandered around my porch and then to the neighbors roof. i believe it is a pigeon. saw this bird at copeyon park,ludington, mi., 8/7/2018, about 10am and got what numbers i could from my pictures. not sure if this is of any value to you but thought that someone might be interested in knowing about it. also looked like a "73" on there, but i'm not sure--- pretty, white bird. orange band. we have had a pigeon on our back porch for 2 days and we caught it today after feeding it. this beautiful, white with grey and black tail feathers was found at the jefferson valley mall. which is the intersection of taconic state parkway and route 6 (new york)you can call me and leave a message if i don't get to the phone in time. the bird is safe, i own a white ring neck dove, so i had food and gave him/her water. he was at the location from 9am, and i brought him home in a large box with air holes and put in some hay that i have for my doves. he is doing well, was hungry.
