we have had a pigeon hanging around our house on and off for the last three weeks. it does not have a band. it is obviously familiar with people as it follows us around the yard and will now let us touch and hold it. it has spent about ten nights roosting in our porch rafters. itâ€™s nice to have around but it is lonely and i would like to see it reunited or united with a flock. it peeks in our windows looking for me when i am inside. we have been feeding it too because it seemed hungry. i have a lot of pictures of the bird. please let me know if you are missing him/her or if you have a flock you would introduce him to. not for racing. cannot catche pigeon but it is banded. has a metal band and a pink band. white with a greyish light brownish head. red feet. this bird has been around the building where i work this seems like the third day. if you want a photo text me at 631-875-0567. if you know someone who would come get the bird to get it checked out. i'm not even supposed to be here today, i will be leaving soon friday 9/7/18 the building is closed on the weekend. im' concerned it might get run over as its walking about the parking lot. i brought out water, but it kept walking away. i don't have bird seed. i use a bike to get around so i can't drive it anywhere even if i caught it.
